   People love and forget

 He came and never left

With all his heart loved another soul

For she was no better than a troll,

Every night he waited faraway

For once he watched her vague away,

The mornings were easy to roll

And the night came with a roll.

She was his only one

But her heart belonged to someone,

For one day she would realise

He dreamt it every night,

Love was real when they first kissed

But she never wanted to get hitched,

He was in love with her little things

But everyone thought it was just a fling.

Beside me you were always there

She noticed when her soul was lost elsewhere,

The pain much too small

For she was confused to smile or to hold,

Her soul had travelled everywhere

Forgotten and much repaired,

But when she woke up from the nightmare

He had no heart to spare.
