She decides to keep walking with the shoes in her right hand and a plucked rose in another.
The flowers on her dress now turned pale with the dust and she looked flushed.
With a mile gone by and still determind, she kept walking like a soldier in the lost war.
It was a summer aftrenoon with a sweet smell in the air and it reminded her of hope.
It's crazy how far hope takes people and then crushes them on the very second it leaves.
She knows that she will never find what she is searching for and that she should return home.
Finally, she stops and takes a look at her feet covered in mud and then smiles to herself, unaware of the fact that there is someone following her. It kept going and seemed like
eternity and she was starting to get tired of the stale stares of the passers-by.
Agitated, she stops again and looked back after feeling a presence and found no one!
Was it only in her head that someone was there for her, watching her steps and preventing her to stumble. She always knew that there was someone who was molding her paths and taming her thoughts.
She just grew so comfortable with the care that she stopped noticing his presence, but he was always there to guard her heart.
Little did she knew that she was looking for happiness in all the wrong places, it took a fall to get her to realise his presence in her life and that even if everyone leaves he will always be there to hold her and gaurd her heart.
